Avery Durbin is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who values each patient and partners with them for their personal wellness goals.

She has been in Macon since starting her nursing career in 2006.  She completed her undergrad at The University of Georgia and Nursing at Armstrong Atlantic State University.  She started her career in Labor & Delivery followed by working as a Women’s Health Nurse Navigator, Surgery Center, and Nursing Instructor.  She has a passion for Women’s Health and Mental Health and loves helping patients become the healthiest version of themselves to live life to the fullest.

Avery received her Masters of Science in Nursing from South University and knew Family Practice was the best fit to care for patients in the Middle Georgia area.  She is excited to be at Scarborough Family Medicine where patients are given personalized, top-notch care.

Her husband serves in law enforcement in Bibb County and her three daughters keep them busy with church, cheer, and swimming.  Their family loves people and loves to serve together.
