Brief info

GeorgAnne was raised on a small family farm in middle GA where the values of hard work and dedication were instilled at a young age.

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and Kennesaw State University where she graduated top of her nursing class in 2016. She worked as a nurse extern at Kennestone Hospital in Kennesaw, GA for two years working in various units including pediatrics while in nursing school. Following graduation, she spent two years working in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at Atrium Navicent Health Macon, a level one trauma center.

She spent the next two years working in multiple intensive care units at Atrium including surgical-trauma ICU, neuro ICU, medical ICU, and cardiovascular ICU. Here, she learned various skills in critical care and managing complicated, high-risk patients. It was also here she developed a desire to work in outpatient primary care where she recognized the important role it played in prevention and early treatment of disease processes.

After completing nurse practitioner school at Columbus State University, GeorgAnne decided to broaden her skills in family practice and work with patients of all ages. She worked in outpatient family practice for a year before joining Scarborough Family Medicine.
In her free time, GeorgAnne enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include camping, reading, and running.
